The Annoying Rival Battle Tournament - Round Two
The finals in each of the brackets, setting up the Finals between both brackets!!
SECRET ID BRACKET
1. Flash Thompson has a tougher time than you might think with 2. Steve Lombard. Think about it, while Flash really did NOT appear regularly in the Spider-Man titles (at least not since the first 20 or so issues), Steve was a constant twice-a-month fixture in the Superman books for about thirteen years!!!
Ultimately, though, the whole "Steve Lombard not existing in the current DC continuity" thing is just too big of a hurdle for Steve to overcome, and Flash takes it if only because of that (although Flash is not in great shape in the Spider-titles either, as he is currently more or less brain-dead).
TEEN COMICS BRACKET
1. Reggie Mantle doesn't take too much time to dismiss 3. Cheryl Blossom, but it is a much more aggressive battle than he was ready for!
Think about it - her comic actually lasted LONGER than Reggie's!
In addition, in her very first appearance, Cheryl tried to go TOPLESS! When has Reggie EVER done something THAT controversial?!?
However, while Reggie may be less splashy than Cheryl, he also is more efficient. Like Tim Duncan and the Spurs, he just plods along, year after year, consistently putting up good results.
So while Blossom puts up a tough fight, the battle is decided fairly quickly.
Mantle puts the win on his mantle.
Now the REAL fun!

Reggie, of course.
Reggie has been annoying since the 1940s.
Reggie has no redeeming qualities.
You can pity Flash, because you know his adult life will suck; Reggie, however, will be successful and never receive comeuppance.
