Snark Free Theme Day for 11/18

Today's theme is...."____, I am your father/mother," or in other words, PARENTAGE REVEALS!!

1. At one point, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver discovered that their parents were the Golden Age heroes Whizzer and Miss America. I do not know why they thought that that would be a good idea, but that is what it was.

2. LATER, it was revealed that ACTUALLY, their parents were Magneto and Magneto's dead wife.

3. It was quite a scene when Nightcrawler learned that his mother was Mystique. And when he found out that his father was some demon-like creature? YIKES.

4. In an issue of Gotham Knights, it was revealed that Barbara Gordon actually WAS the biological daughter of James Gordon!

5. In the Runaways, new member Victor discovered, much to his chagrin, that his "father" was the evil robot ULTRON!!

6. Wonder Girl was quite surprised to learn that her father was none other than the big Greek Sugar Daddy himself, ZEUS!

Any more that I am missing?

Spider-Man 2099 comes to mind, as it later turned out Miguel's father was really his evil boss Tyler Stone.

Sort of how Polaris must be Magneto's daughter because she's got magnetic powers to.

Kind of a parent reveal. Peter Parker's parents returned for a while and then it turned out they were robot copies of the orginals.

Also, that whole Gambit/Sinister/Summers thing. I still don't understand it.

Cable was revealed to be Scott and Madelyne Summers' son (even though we'd been guessing it for months before).

There's also Cyclops discovering that he was Corsair's son, which should have been completely horrible, but was in fact handled quite well.
