Snark Free Theme Day for 11/25

Today's theme is, appropriately enough, Thanksgiving comics!!!

1. In Long Halloween #2, Batman encounters Solomon Grundy, and the Irish mob gets wiped out while having Thanksgiving dinner.

2. The X-Men celebrated Thanksgiving one year by having Jean Grey propose to Scott Summers!!! (He said yes!)

3. There was a classic Power Pack issue where the group got all their superhero friends (inclusing Beta Ray Bill and Wolverine) together for Thanksgiving while their mother was recuperating from an injury.

4. My pal Chris reminded me of the recent JSA Thanksgiving issues (#52 and JLA/JSA Virtue and Vice, where we learn that the JSA and the JLA now get together for Thanksgiving!

5. He also reminded me of the Bullpen Bits where 'lil Warpath is describing HIS interpreation of Thanksgiving, which his teacher dismisses out of hand.

Can anyone come up with some that I missed?

Actually, that Ma Hunkle issue of JSA was Christmas themed, not Thanksgiving.

But the JSA did share two Thanksgivings with the JLA, one in the "Virtue and Vice" hardcover and the sequel in #54.

Highlights include Mister Terrific serving a plate of food to Batman (who accepts with a smile), and Batman and Terrific having to order a ton of pizzas when the dinner is ruined by evil wizards.

Oops.

There WAS a Thanksgiving issue, though.

That's the important thing!!

Little "Thunderbird", Brian. "Thunderbird". GET IT RIGHT!

*huff-huff-huff*

Though "Warpath" would have been acceptable.
