Best Comic Book Teacher

There have been plenty of characters in comics who were teachers, but who is the BEST one, do you think?

Miss Grundy?

Jefferson Pierce?

Helena Bertenilli?

Ray Palmer?

Ryan Choi?

Miss Grundy by a wide margin. She's the one teacher we've seen in comics who's really been all about her profession. It wasn't just a secret identity or a setup for gags, she was really in there teaching.

And she was first and foremost always concerned about her students. Remember that time Mr. Weatherbee made the announcement over the PA that students were absolutely forbidden to place their noses in the pencil sharpeners? Well, Miss Grundy was very upset, because making such a statement would give some kids the idea to do just that, so she marched straight to the principal's office to complain about him saying something so foolish and irresponsible. That's the kind of teacher she was: she wouldn't hesitate to tell off her boss if she thought he was putting her students in jeopardy.

And then she got to Mr. Weatherbee's office and saw he had a big gauze bandage on his nose.
